An energetic expression of personality and style. The program for this home revolves around having friends and family over, a mixture of different spaces with different aesthetics to congregate, a connection to the outdoors, and a state of the art gym that overlooks a world class collection of cars.
Most people won’t ever know where this home exists, since it sits almost 1,000 feet back from the road and is surrounded by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park forest. The design is a mixture of gable roof forms cantilevered over stone walls that make up the formal entry courtyard and block views to the pool. The main living area is a single sloped roof of exposed structure and glass walls that extend the first floor right to the outdoor entertainment spaces. And maybe the most iconic piece, is the floating glass bridge that connects the bedroom wing to the workout facility and auto showroom. The bridge functions as the gateway to the garage doors and rear motor court / basketball court and is a lantern at night.
This house includes a bourbon lounge, theater, gameroom, third story office perch, cantilevered spa, and an outdoor living and dining room. Needless to say, this house packs a punch…
